For those of you who are frustrated with the supply of seasonal and H1N1 vaccine this year, thank you for your patience.  As of 11/17 we have administered  roughly 2500 doses ofl flu vaccine, half H1N1 and half seasonal at 25 clinics. Our staff has worked extra to provide a variety of clinic times throughout the week and on weekends.   Please keep checking in for future clinics.  Our goal is to distribute the vaccine to our patients as quickly as possible.  "Our refrigerators don't need protection, your children do".

SEASONAL FLU VACCINE: 11/19   We have injectable for 6-35 months only. We have some openings on Tues  11/24.  Please call to schedule

H1N1(Swine flu): 11/17    We have no H1N1 at this moment.  Please continue to check our supply.  We tend to get 2 shipments per week but we have no idea what each shipment includes.

BEGINNINGS: A Center for Childbirth and Parenting Education offers a variety of childbirth and parenting education classes for pregnant women and their families. Course offerings include Preparation for Childbirth for first time parents, and VBAC Preparation and Refresher in Childbirth for those who have previously given birth. Beginnings also offers: Preparation for Breastfeeding, Infant Care, Pediatric CPR, and Big Sister, Big Brother: Sibling Preparation. Classes are offered at various locations in Chittenden County. Each course, is taught by certified instructors, offers participants relevant, up-to-date information necessary in making informed decisions about their pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. Beginnings is a highly regarded organization within the health care community, and has been providing expectant women and their families childbirth and parenting education since 1982.
