FLU VACCINE: 11/4 We have a limited supply of seasonal vaccine. We have Flumist for children 2 and over and injectable for 6-35 months. Please call for an appointment.
H1N1(Swine flu): 11/4 - We have no H1N1 vaccine at this time.
BEGINNINGS: A Center for Childbirth and Parenting Education offers a variety of childbirth and parenting education classes for pregnant women and their families. Course offerings include Preparation for Childbirth for first time parents, and VBAC Preparation and Refresher in Childbirth for those who have previously given birth. Beginnings also offers: Preparation for Breastfeeding, Infant Care, Pediatric CPR, and Big Sister, Big Brother: Sibling Preparation. Classes are offered at various locations in Chittenden County. Each course, is taught by certified instructors, offers participants relevant, up-to-date information necessary in making informed decisions about their pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. Beginnings is a highly regarded organization within the health care community, and has been providing expectant women and their families childbirth and parenting education since 1982.
